Updates

• FixedFix: Upgrade Database works from any earlier release (no gap in the migration sequence)
• ImprovedUpload the new files and run Perfex's Upgrade Database for the module: no manual step, every setting and record is kept

License

• ImprovedEvery license call (activate, check, pause) now sends Deliverables's sellmycode.net item id, as sellmycode.net requires
• ImprovedA purchase code bought for another product, or an unknown one, only shows "This purchase code is not valid for Perfex Deliverables." It is never activated, and nothing about the other product is shown
• ImprovedAn activation made by an older version with another product's purchase code is paused automatically and removed from this install; enter your Deliverables purchase code to switch Deliverables back on

License

• ImprovedWhen the site moves to another domain (a new address, a staging or test copy), the license is never activated for the new domain on its own: not when the module is switched on again, not by the scheduled check, not when a page opens. Deliverables stays switched off until an administrator confirms: the License page and the admin banner say "This site now runs on <new domain>. Activate your license for this domain?" with an "Activate on <new domain>" button. When all activation slots are in use, the page shows sellmycode.net's hint and the Request a Transfer button
• ImprovedThe old domain is never paused from the new one (module deactivation and the Pause button only use a token of this domain); it keeps its slot until the author releases it
• ImprovedPaused, revoked or otherwise invalid licenses: besides Reactivate, "Use a different purchase code" opens a code field on the page. The stored code is replaced only when sellmycode.net confirms the new one; if it fails, the current code stays and the error is shown
• ImprovedSwitching the module on again on the same domain still reactivates the kept purchase code automatically
• ImprovedBlocked licenses: when the author blocks the purchase code (License Blocked) or this domain for it (This Site Is Blocked for This License), Deliverables switches off on the next check and the License page and admin banner show sellmycode.net's hint with an Appeal / Contact the Author button; Reactivate is hidden, a different purchase code can still be used
• ImprovedThe license is checked every 6 hours instead of once a day, and also when an administrator or staff member opens a Deliverables page and the last check is more than 6 hours old. That check runs after the page is sent (or in the background), so pages never wait for it, and several pages opened at once make one check at most

License

• ImprovedWithout a valid license (not activated, paused, revoked by the author, a code for another product, or no confirmed answer within the grace period) Perfex Deliverables switches off and Perfex works as without the module: no Deliverables queue, project tab, portal menu, reminders, notifications, cron jobs, Brain Pro widgets or AI Staff tools. Records, files and settings are kept; activating the license brings everything back
• ImprovedPrivate review links and the portal's review pages show a clean "Review Page Not Available" page to clients (HTTP 403, in their language); scripts and ajax calls get the JSON license_inactive answer
• ImprovedEvery Deliverables page answers "License Not Valid" while switched off (other requests get a JSON license_inactive answer with HTTP 403, never an error page); the License page stays under Deliverables › License and Setup › Module Licenses, and administrators see a banner on every page. Staff who are not administrators see "contact your administrator"

• ImprovedDevelopment installs (localhost, *.localhost, *.test, *.local and private network addresses) need no license
• ImprovedDeactivating the module pauses this site; activating it again resumes a kept code; uninstalling pauses and removes the stored purchase code, token and cache. Nothing else is deleted while the license is not valid

Where it lives

• ImprovedEverything stays inside Perfex: a Deliverables tab on every project (board or list) and a Deliverables queue in the sidebar. The separate full-screen pages and the popup of 1.x are gone; 1.x addresses open the new pages.
• ImprovedProject board with the columns Draft, Waiting for client, Needs changes, Approved and Delivered; progress strip, Next steps, Scope of Work and Change Requests beside it. A new project starts with three steps: upload files, choose reviewers, send for review.
• ImprovedQueue across all projects you may see: needs my action, waiting on client, overdue and approved this week, with filters, sorting and a CSV export.
• ImprovedPerfex bell notifications for client feedback and decisions, replies, @mentions, assignments and review reminders.

Review screen

• ImprovedPins, rectangles, arrows and freehand marks in a colour on images, PDF pages, video frames and websites.
• ImprovedThreads with replies, @mentions, attachments and internal notes clients never see, posted without a page reload; feedback to Perfex tasks; feedback status open, in progress, resolved.

Video and website proofs

• ImprovedVideo proofs (MP4, WebM, MOV): comments at a moment or a range, timeline markers, frame steps, playback speeds, streaming playback with seeking, a separate size limit (500 MB by default).
• ImprovedWebsite proofs: comment on the live page when the site allows framing, otherwise on screenshots per page and device (1440, 768 and 390 px) uploaded by staff or taken by an optional screenshot service. Each comment keeps the page address, screen width and browser.
• ImprovedSeveral files as one Deliverable (up to 50), deliverable sets, previews for videos, websites and multi-file versions.

Client review

• ImprovedPrivate review links without a Perfex login: a 6-digit e-mail code (10 minutes, 5 tries), the browser stays verified for 7 days, links end after 30 days or when staff end them. Only a hash of each link is stored; codes and wrong codes are rate-limited per link, contact and IP address; a link pauses for a day after 10 wrong codes.
• ImprovedThe customer portal shows the same pages; links can be switched off to use the portal only.
• ImprovedClient approval with an approval checklist and the typed name; the decision keeps version, time, IP address, browser and channel. "Request changes" sends the version back to the team.
• ImprovedClient pages for the Change Request (what was asked, cost, new dates, accept or decline) and the handover (every final file, approval history, PDF and ZIP). Phone layouts for every client page.

Scope of Work and Change Requests

• ImprovedScope of Work checklist: deliverables with quantity and revision rounds, included and not included, acceptance criteria; the client approves it like a file. Scope of Work and reviewers are optional.
• ImprovedRevision limits that suggest a Change Request; the New Change Request panel picks the feedback it covers, suggests a fee from the hours and the hourly rate, shows the schedule impact and what happens on acceptance (draft estimate, task, capacity booking).
• ImprovedProject templates (scope, deliverables, rounds and reviewers) and reports: review time, rounds per client and per staff member, scope overruns, Change Request acceptance, CSV export.

AI and integrations

• ImprovedOptional AI helpers through Perfex AI Staff: feedback to tasks, conflicting feedback, out-of-scope requests (as a draft Change Request) and a client status summary. The AI only proposes; staff confirm.
• ImprovedPerfex Brain Pro: five new insight widgets (15 in total).

Settings, upgrade and security
