    Perfex Inbox 2.0 adds phone calls, lead handling and outbound follow-ups to the shared inbox. Every new area has its own switch under Inbox › Settings › Features and is off after the upgrade, CSAT surveys included.

    Voice

    • NewNew Voice channel: call from the browser and take incoming calls inside Inbox, with Twilio (Voice SDK) or Telnyx (Call Control) on your own provider account

    Upgrade notes

    • Free for everyone who bought Perfex Inbox: download 2.0.0 from your sellmycode.net account with the same purchase code
    • Upload the new files, then run Upgrade Database for Perfex Inbox (Setup › Modules); every account, conversation, message, attachment and setting is kept. Upgrade Database also works while the module is inactive, from 1.0.0, 1.1.0, 1.1.1 or 1.1.2
    • After the upgrade Voice, Call AI, Leads, Cadences, Campaigns and CSAT surveys are off (a one-time notice offers administrators to turn CSAT on; new installs start with CSAT on). Turn areas on in Inbox › Settings › Features
    • Uninstalling now keeps Inbox data unless an administrator turns on Delete Inbox Data When the Module Is Uninstalled
    • Calls need your own Twilio or Telnyx account (call and number fees are billed by the provider) and Perfex on a public HTTPS address
    • Voice needs a voice worker that runs all the time (systemd or Supervisor): php index.php perfex_inbox/voice_worker/run loop 60 calls; Telnyx also needs a second one with agents instead of calls. Perfex's cron still runs every minute
    • Telnyx: set up a failover route in your Telnyx account, because a call that arrives while the voice worker is down is refused so Telnyx can fail over; the agent SIP connection must be internal with no outbound voice profile
    • Email cadences and campaigns: enter your postal address in Sending Rules; sign mail with DKIM at your mail provider so mail programs show one-click unsubscribe
    • Cadences and campaigns send through Perfex's cron, up to 100 messages per run and within each account's daily cap
    • Call transcripts need the transcription option of your phone provider (a paid add-on at Twilio and Telnyx)

    • ImprovedEvery license call (activate, check, pause) now sends Perfex Inbox's sellmycode.net item id, as the license server requires
    • ImprovedA purchase code bought for another product, or an unknown one, only shows "This purchase code is not valid for Perfex Inbox." and is never activated

    Domain changes need your confirmation

    License

    • ImprovedWhen the site moves to another domain (a new address, a staging or test copy), the license is never activated for the new domain on its own: not when the module is switched on again, not by the scheduled check, not when a page opens. Perfex Inbox stays switched off until an administrator confirms: the License page and the admin banner say "This site now runs on <new domain>. Activate your license for this domain?" with an "Activate on <new domain>" button. When all activation slots are in use, the page shows sellmycode.net's hint and the Request a Transfer button
    • ImprovedThe old domain is never paused from the new one (module deactivation and the Pause button only use a token of this domain); it keeps its slot until the author releases it
    • ImprovedPaused, revoked or otherwise invalid licenses: besides Reactivate, "Use a different purchase code" opens a code field on the page. The stored code is replaced only when sellmycode.net confirms the new one; if it fails, the current code stays and the error is shown
    • ImprovedSwitching the module on again on the same domain still reactivates the kept purchase code automatically
    • ImprovedBlocked licenses: when the author blocks the purchase code (License Blocked) or this domain for it (This Site Is Blocked for This License), Perfex Inbox switches off on the next check and the License page and admin banner show sellmycode.net's hint with an Appeal / Contact the Author button; Reactivate is hidden, a different purchase code can still be used

    License

    • FixedOpening the License page address of a deactivated module answers "page not found" instead of a server error
    • ImprovedPerfex Inbox now needs a sellmycode.net license on a live site. Without a valid license (not activated, paused, revoked by the author, a code for another product, or no confirmed answer within the grace period) the inbox switches off and Perfex works as without the module: its menu, pages, CRM tabs, rules, SLA, reminders and reports pause, and mailbox fetching (IMAP, Gmail, Microsoft 365) and all sending stop. Nothing is deleted; activating the license brings everything back
    • ImprovedChannel webhooks (WhatsApp, SMS, social), the live chat widget and web forms answer with a clear "license not valid" response (HTTP 403) while the inbox is switched off; Flow Studio sees the inbox as absent and sends nothing through it

    • NewIMAP / SMTP mailboxes for any mail server, with provider presets (hosting, Gmail, Outlook.com, Zoho, iCloud, Yahoo and more), SSL / TLS or STARTTLS, a connection test that lists the folders, app-password hints.
    • NewGmail / Google Workspace through the buyer's own Google Cloud app (Gmail API): sign in with Google, history-based sync, replies in the same Gmail thread, extra labels.
    • NewMicrosoft 365 / Outlook through the buyer's own Microsoft Entra app (Microsoft Graph): sign in with Microsoft, delta sync, shared mailboxes, extra folders, a reminder before the client secret expires.
    • NewEmail apps page with step-by-step guides for Google and Microsoft and the redirect URI to copy; no central app.
    • NewBackground sync through Perfex's cron: incremental, nothing deleted or marked as read on the server, first import of the last 14 days, a guard that keeps the inbox syncing when another module's cron task fails.
